In the Design Industry Since: Birth.  Well, maybe high school when I was constantly rearranging my bedroom and repainting my walls.

Accreditations/Experience:   I see the world in color, shape, and texture and have always been drawn to creative careers that allow my style aesthetic to be used in the work that I do.  I’ve enjoyed working at high-end clothing boutiques, repped a few skincare lines, and worked in the travel industry for decades.  All these experiences improved my ability to understand my client’s needs and the importance for paying attention to all the little details. Whether it’s fashion, skincare and makeup, or interiors, I have a creative approach to design that brings pieces together in a fresh new way.  All while providing dedicated care to the people I serve.

Inspiration to Pursue a Design Career: After raising 5 children and enjoying the experience of designing my own homes with the finest furnishings at Walter E. Smithe, I decided to pursue a career as a designer, combining my personal experience with high-end custom furnishings, an eye for design, and a love of getting to know my clients to uncover the style that makes their heart sing in their home.

Favorite Design Tip: Apply the same rule for interiors as you would fashion.  If wearing certain colors look great on you-design your home in those shades too.  If something makes your heart sing, you’re on the right track.  

Best Advice to Clients:  Never, ever purchase something that doesn’t feel good to you, you’ll regret it later.  Be true to your own design style.

My Personal Design Aesthetic Is:  Clean lines, and rich textures layered with interesting pieces.  Timeless with a twist.
