CASEGOODS (NON UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE)
Tables, cabinets, desks, lamps, artwork, clocks, etc.	1 year	Warranted against defects in materials and workmanship	Repairs will be made in home or in our shop at no charge.
REUPHOLSTERY WARRANTY
SEWING & CUSHIONS	2 years fabric and cushions	Sewing warranted against ripping & excessive stretching. Cushions warranted against excessive break down caused by defects in materials or workmanship.	Frames, trim, springs, support systems are not warranted.
RUGS
AREA RUGS	1 year	Warranted not to shred or tear. Seams will hold strong.	Some shedding, variances in texture, sheen & other variations are normal and not defects.
BEDDING & WINDOW TREATMENTS
SLEEPER SOFA MATTRESSES	5 years	Warranted against defects in materials and workmanship	Spring & cover defects

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.	WARRANTY PERIOD EXPIRATION. Repair Service may be available for a modest fee after warranty expires. Free service will not be provided after the warranty period expires.
2.	PROPER CARE & MAINTENANCE REQUIRED. Failure to properly care for furniture voids all warranties. Abuse determinations will be made exclusively by Smithe.
3.	ALTERATIONS & PROFESSIONAL CLEANING. Alterations void all warranties. Smithe is never liable for problems resulting from cleaning
4.	RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY. No warranty coverage is available for furniture used in commercial settings.
5.	FLOOR SAMPLE CLEARANCE items are not covered by any warranties due to the discounted selling price.
6.	CLIENT COOPERATION such as dropping off items at the store, or having the item out of the home may be required to perform certain warranty services.
7.	TRANSPORTATION COSTS will be paid by clients living beyond 150 miles from the nearest Smithe showroom
8.	PROOF OF PURCHASE required. Valid to original buyer only. No coverage for damage caused by moving, exposure to elements, fire, flood or acts of god.
9.	CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES resulting from warranty issues such as mismatch due to unavailability of a replacement are the responsibility of the owner.
10.	SELECTION OF REPLACEMENT ITEMSmust take place at the store location of the original purchase with the original sales designer
11.	OUTSIDE REPAIR TECHS. Smithe reserves the right to review and approve quotes before repairs are made by client.
12.	IN HOME REPAIRS are normally provided at no extra charge. However Client may be asked to drop & pick up small items at the store
LIMITATIONS & EXCLUSIONS
1.	NORMAL AGING SIGNS such as fading, loose threads, softening of cushions, wavy welt cording, stretching of fabric & leather, pilling, moderate warping & loosening of frames, loss of original wood finish sheen or development of leather patina are normal and are not covered under any warranty.
2.	FADING of leather, fabric, wood & metal can occur normally even after a few months, and is never covered under any warranty.
3.	A USE FEE may apply to furniture returned in less than brand new condition.
4.	SELECTION OF REMEDY. Smithe reserves the right to select the specific remedy in each case under this warranty.
5.	EXPOSURE TO ELEMENTS. Damage caused by exposure to the elements is never covered under this warranty.
6.	CUSTOM EXPRESS & BROYHILL, LEATHER STUDIO, AND OTHER SELECT VENDORS frames and springs are covered for 10 years, cores and fabric for 1 year. See your designer for additional vendors who may have limited warranties that differ from the above information. Thomasville Furniture is limited to Thomasville Warranties. 7.	CUSHION CORES will soften and conform to the user even during the first few months of use. These changes are not defects and will not merit replacement cushion cores.
8.	IF MECHANISM OR MOTOR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, a store credit will be issued, subject to a 12.5 % per year usage credit, and the unit will be made stationary at no charge. Client can keep the original furniture. No further service is available.
9.	WARRANTY UPDATES: The terms of this warranty may be updated periodically.
